Know your way around an egg? Bashful’s all ears…

To the Jelly Journal Editor,

Bashful Bunny here!

I’m writing with a small request. Well – not that small. It’s pretty important, actually.

Easter is on the way, and after years of politely sidestepping the obvious (there are only so many “hop to it” jokes a bunny can take), I’ve decided to embrace it. Eggs, bows, baskets, the lot. You know what they say… If you can’t beat them, join them – and best to do it with chocolate!

Bartholomew Bear has been helping, but we’re swamped. So, I’m looking for a little extra help.

Details below:

Role: Easter Expert / Basket Filler / Ribbon Curator / Egg Placement Specialist / Chief Egg Hider / Deputy Chocolate Defender (Short-Term)
Location: Worldwide
Duration: Now until Easter Sunday
Pay: At least a dozen mini chocolate eggs

What’s involved:

  • Managing ribbons (neatest bows only, please)
  • Hiding eggs (note: DON’T keep them all in one basket!)
  • Intervening at key moments when enthusiasm (mine) gets ahead of practical reality

**

Who you are:**

  • Unfazed by chocolate quantities that may exceed expectations
  • Happy taking direction from a bunny who is, admittedly, very excited about this
  • Able to hold your ground when Peanut circles back “just to check one”

A bonus if you:

  • Can spot a slightly wonky egg from across the room
  • Have strong opinions on what makes an egg-cellent hiding place (and a good pun)
  • Care about the moment someone finds an egg as much as where it was hidden

If that sounds like your sort of thing, I’d love to hear from you.

(Oh – and Happy Easter!)

Hugs,
Bashful Bunny
