Things that make Timmy Turtle grumpy. (And things that don’t).

A billion unread emails. Unwashed mugs. Queueing. Amuseables walking slowly right in front of you on a narrow pavement.

These things get right on Timmy Turtle’s nerves. If it isn’t Amuseables Peanut playing loud disco, it’s that diva Spindleshanks Spider waxing his legs in the bathroom. Give. Me. Strength.

Let’s be honest. Everyday life can be thoroughly irritating. Little niggles become big noodles when you’re already feeling tired. And the worst, the absolute worst thing you can say to a tetchy turtle is: “Turn that frown upside down.”

Sigh.

But. There is a way back to sunshine.

Exercise is good. Even Timmy smiles when he’s hula-hooping. A kickflip on Amuseables Skateboard can put things right. And swimming deep underwater clears away the blues.

Music helps, too. Timmy secretly loves a toot on his recorder. (It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it makes him happy.)
